The Organic Bedroom – Warranty and Other Key Information

At The Organic Bedroom, we keep very little inventory on hand.  In most cases, the products that we sell are ordered from manufacturers when a purchase is made specifically on our customer’s behalf. Most of the mattresses are custom made to order, so we encourage customers to take the appropriate time to find the right comfort preference.

Estimated Mattress Lead Times

The estimated delivery time we provide when you purchase a mattress is an estimate. We will provide you with typical shipping and delivery times but on occasion products may be on back order or there can be shipping delays. If you specifically have to have a mattress by a certain date, please let us know, and we will do everything we can to hit this deadline or recommend a product that can meet this requirement. If your product is going to be delayed 8 weeks beyond the estimated delivery time we will give you the option to cancel your order for a full refund or choose an alternative product.

Limited Trial Period

The Organic Bedroom only sells new mattresses and bedding, and there is no free trial period.  In the rare event your mattress does not meet your comfort requirements, you may receive a 70% credit towards a mattress of greater retail value. This will be calculated by taking your purchase price less list price of promotional items and delivery fees both ways. This is only available one time.  You must sleep on your mattress for a minimum of 14 days to allow your body to adapt but no more than 60 days. This is valid for mattresses only.  Accessories, foundations, furniture and adjustable bases do not qualify. This is not valid regarding smell, allergies, mattress or foundation size, or if a mattress is in any way damaged or soiled. This is not valid on Floor Model, Clearance, and special or custom orders. This is available only if everyone who sleeps on the mattress has tested the mattress in our showroom.

Home Delivery

The Organic Bedroom subcontracts our deliveries. We will use either a local delivery company or in some cases a national white glove company to deliver your mattress. It is very important you inspect your products in full for any damage or missing items before signing the delivery acceptance form. If there is a concern on the delivery, please make a note on the delivery acceptance form. If the form is signed and there are no notations, your order will be considered complete and in satisfactory condition. Your old mattress cannot be picked up if it is unsanitary and considered a hazard to transport. Once your old mattress is picked up it cannot be returned to you.

Comfort Exchange

Many of our mattresses have comfort exchange/adjustment availability. This means individual layers can be swapped out to make your mattress firmer or softer. Each manufacturer is different, and we will follow the manufacturer’s policies on this. All exchanges/adjustments will be handled by calling The Organic Bedroom. If you need to try the different layer in our showroom this can only be done by appointment (we do this so you can get the attention you need and not during busy times on our showroom floor). We charge the actual amount the manufacturer does plus 3% administrative fee for handling the transaction.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims are handled through the manufacturer.  We know warranty claims are frustrating.  In the rare instance that you have a warranty claim we will assist you through the process, please contact us by phone or email so we can walk you through the process. It is important to keep your mattress free of any stains, do not remove law tags and keep your original paperwork in order to file a warranty claim. If you would like to visit our store to discuss a possible warranty claim please call to set an appointment. In most cases we can present the warranty claim to the manufacturer by you sending us photos and documentation of any possible defects. In some cases, an inspection by a 3rd party company may be required. Floor models are sold as is and with no manufacturer’s warranty but will have a 3 year prorated warranty from The Organic Bedroom.

  • Serenityspring: 10 year warranty: 5 full 5 pro rated

Whitney

  • Ice, Frost, & Snow: 20 year warranty: 10 full 10 pro rated
  • Lil Joey, Sleet: 10 year warranty: 10 full

 

Dispute Resolution

Should a dispute arrive, it will be settled in North Carolina and in Wake County.
